Evan and Elena are the epitome of class, friendship, love and passion. Even though they live in New York, they chose to have their wedding near their families in Santa Monica – at the very best place in Santa Monica, Shutters on the Beach! Enjoy this highlight reel – enjoy the sun, sand, clear skies and warmth – for all of our friends still feeling the Winter’s Chill!
Okay everyone, this wedding was super fun! John and Cherish are two remarkable people and we fell in love with them right from the start. It could be because they are kindred spirits, John being an editor and Cherish loving movies or that people who get married in March are just fantastic people in general! In case anyone forgot- David and I got married in March. Mostly however, as usual – it is the couple and the people around them that make the story of the wedding day. Their families had flown in from all different parts of the states and everyone was under one roof for one moment in time, looking their best and experiencing one of life’s great moments in time. This is what love is. So please enjoy!
Want to see more about what a planner does on the wedding day? Wedding and Event Coordinator Amber Gustafson of Amber Events takes you behind the scenes of a 300+ guest wedding event at The Vibiana Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles! She is a very effective person and fun planner! Watch this other perspective of the wedding day!
Margaria and Omar had a really LA wedding! We started off in Hacienda Heights at basically their huge ranches where they had their enormous bridal parties with them getting ready! Margarita took a horse drawn carriage to the church, St. John Vienny in Hacienda Heights – cool! We then went to the Exposition Park Rose Garden for pictures and the Universal City Sheraton for the reception.
Photography was done by the talented and super nice George Sillas. Enjoy!
Here is a posh perspective on one of our favorite spots in Pasadena, The Ivory Suite. This really is a cool story. Sean, of Sean J. Mason Photography operates out of this locale and it is his wife’s bridal dress shop!! Gina operates The Ivory Suite and it is indeed one of a kind. The Ivory Suite takes appointments only, which means, if you are trying on a dress you are the only one! I think that is fabulous and it allows for full attention to be devoted to you. It makes picking out a dress as simple as it was to pick out your husband to be- well almost!
Hey Everyone!!! Mark your calendars, this Sunday February 28, 2010 I will be speaking at Backstage Bridal! An event held at High Profile Productions which we showcased earlier this week. Amazing wedding planner Tami Brown of Celebrate! With Tami Brown will be taking the helm in a Q &A with our company. She told me to think Oprah, so I’m ready for my close up Mr. DeMille! Speaking of close ups, Jessica deBen extraordinaire makeup artist will be doing my hair and makeup so I look simply fab! We will be recording the event, so don’t worry if you can’t attend, we will have a highlight of the day and a full recording of my presentation- unless I get cold feet and look like a moron, then we will have a full recording of Milo our pet monkey doing the hokey pokee. By the way many of you may have seen the knew Kia commercial for the the Kia Sorrento with the sock monkey and his friends. I am a genius apparently because I already made a sock monkey film with Milo our sock monkey pet. You can preview the film True West, a documentary about our vacation to Santa Fe with my family, soon. Be prepared for 20 minutes of snow, fun, food and travel- watch out Samantha Brown I maybe be coming to a Travel Channel near you! Anyway… I digress. Come see what wedding Films are all about- and the good news brides to be I have 10 free tickets to the event!! So if you want to come, email us and we can hook you up VIP style, and who said your local wedding filmmaker can’t hook you up! Be there or be a wet noodle! Ciao!
Thank you to Justin, Marriage.com has a lot of great ideas for y our wedding, we always have a lot of fun checking it out! http://www.marriage.com/blog
Jessica and Gabe had a glorious wedding in Indio! We did Gabe’s sister’s wedding in 2006 in Santa Barbara – they know how to pick cool destination locations! The Hyatt in Indian Wells was so accomading and did a wonderful job putting everything together. A special thanks to Alexandra Gardner, the Catering Manager at Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas and Spa!
Rick and Judy picked a beautiful day for their wedding! It rained the night before, so the sky was clear, the sun was low and orange, the church was ornate and somehow her shoes got hung on the lights above her dressing room! The ceremony took place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Long Beach, they took photos at Rainbow Lagoon and Rainbow Harbor, and the Reception was at The Grand. Photography by CW Photography. Congratulations!
Oliver and Anna love Disney, love epic movies and love each other! He proposed by replacing the subtitles to a foreign movie he plays for his friends all of the time – and she was really surprised! She spilled her hot chocolate all over! The wedding took place at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro and the reception was at the Doubletree San Pedro. The coordinator was Teresa from This Is It! Events and the photography was done by our long time friend Xuong from Happy Photos in Costa Mesa. I hope this highlight brings you all some excitement! Happy Valentine’s Day!
