We got to come up early and attend their rehearsal – you can see some of those pictures below. The day before the wedding all of the bridesmaids got together at Megan’s mom’s house and spent the morning making their bouquets! We can’t say enough about the coordinator and catering manager of the location, Renee Bragg-Bellison. She was always checking in on everything and was terribly helpful! Check out this awesome engagement shoot we filmed with Elena and Rigo, in Long Beach! They had gone on several dates by the pier during their courtship, so it was a perfect place to snap some shots off. It was also overcast and a bit nippy, which is unusual for us Californians in June (except June Gloom or something)! Despite the chill in the air, we were able to get great dramatic shots… see for yourself in the pictures bellow!
Here are a couple pictures of our super retro and cool wedding from last weekend – right before Easter! No DJ – just a big band playing “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree,” we thought it was 1945! Many more to come after this!
Kelsey and I had such a swank time with Melissa and Steve as we tromped all over Downtown Fullerton, visited the church to be used in their upcoming wedding and reception site. They are going for a Roaring 20s/Speakeasy theme for their wedding – and we think they are really going to pull it off! Just look at Melissa, she is absolutely gorgeous, and Steve looks like a Brooks Brothers model! I know there are a lot of pictures, but the sun was just right, they were totally into each other and there was such a variety of buildings to shoot! We can’t wait for their wedding April 3rd!
So here is a look into a shoot we did on New Year’s Eve! Gina & Patrick had come to us looking for a creative, swank and intelligent team to photograph their wedding. We fit the bill and immediately bonded with Gina and Patrick. We filmed their engagement shoot last August and we were friends after the first click of the camera. Gina is remarkably fun and sexy and Patrick’s eyes glistened with love. We expected their wedding would be pretty awesome being on New Years. It was however, much more… I think the word I am looking for is “Fabulous”!

Being an evening wedding, we started around dusk. At first we were a little irked that we wouldn’t be having much light to work with, but the darkness allowed us to supply all of the light, having complete control.
See… being in the dark can have spectacular effects! At least we think so!
Normally white bouquets can be a little… well normal. But these flowers are almost porcelain like!

This little girl caught my attention. She is sooo cute with the yellow flowers in her hair! One more time, can we say adorable!?!
