Jammin’ Kid

This cute child had some serious dance training before this wedding! He was fun to work with all day, and may times said, “Get that camera out of my face!”

Video timelines, what we stare at all day besides you!

Most people have a vague idea about what actually goes into editing videos, concert videos, or wedding videos in particular. I thought I would share with you part of a completed timeline for the Winter Concert that we did in December. You can see some of the songs from that 2 hour concert video in our December posts. This was 3 cameras recording the same concert on 4 different days. All of the concerts are synced, multi-cam setup and cut. You can see how many cuts there really are. Each of those were cut by hand and usually touched a few times, since individual cuts often need to be adjusted. I will post some wedding timelines so you can see how the framework of your prized video actually looks!

Peter and Robin Meet in the Middle!

Hello again everyone, it has been a very busy beginning of the year! We have had so many people contact us about their weddings and we have been meeting so many people it is crazy and wonderful! We also went to the fabulous Brideworld bridal show at the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend. The turnout was fantastic and we can’t wait to meet everyone who has called and emailed us since then. We also shot a wedding on Sunday.

Here is a great video from Robin and Peter’s special features section of the DVD. We will post their highlights soon – Peter is a phenomenal country music singer who plays at the House of Blues on Sunset and has been asked back many times but is usually opening for famous acts. In this video his friends let their shirts out and have a really fun time.

Why Hire A Professional Videographer?

Our groom Matt decided to have a little fun. He wasn’t suppose to see Kerry before hand, but Kerry inadvertently left her wedding dress at the house- so Matt had to bring it to her. We secretly think that she did it on purpose to see Matt beforehand!

So here is Matt with no video training whatsoever filming his wedding day. No offense Matt, but we can see why it is necessary to hire a professional!  And how very important it is not to assume “Uncle Joe” will get those amazing shots. Your wedding day is the most important day in your life- and the biggest regret of all brides is not hiring a videographer.

We all know we are in a bit of an economic crunch, but don’t crunch out in videography just to save a few dollars for your honeymoon- it is your wedding day, a once in a lifetime event, so go ahead splurge a little …. you will be glad you did.

Apparently Minnesota is like Siberia

We are working on Bergt and Wendy’s wedding and thought this was a pretty funny clip from the toasts. When Bergt’s family moved from Germany to America, the first place they lived was Minnesota. This is what Bergt’s father had to say about that….
