Love Captured this Valentine’s Day!

Love is everywhere this Valentine’s Day. Look around you – or better yet, watch this video David and I made about love! It’s short and lovely!

After all, we’re the company that invented love…well, capturing it at least!

~ Happy VDay to You and Yours! ~

What a week!

We just closed up a week of amazing things!

Starting last Saturday with Gary + Talin’s wedding all over Burbank, then David and Heather split to Long Beach with Kerensa + David’s wedding at MOLAA. I (Kelsey) headed the 3 mile trek to Shutter’s with Katie + Mike. Which was fun because I got to work with John Partridge again and I met a new friend, his 2nd photographer Christina Domingues- she rocks!

After those awesome weddings we headed down to San Clemente, for a 2 day Vacation fun time! We swam in the 65 degree water, having the beach all to ourselves and learned that the most popular dog on the beach there is a Golden Labrador!! Seriously, there must have been like 20 of them- super awesome! We then got back to work on Friday, meeting Alex Rembac at the Four Seasons Westlake Village with her amazing clients for a January 1st wedding, the perfect way to start a new year!

Then yesterday transported us downtown to film at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral- with another one of our favorite planners Mary Dann!!! Finishing the night at the Ritz in the Marina! Whoa! I think this has to be another good week! A little fun and a little stress- totally killer!

Another Reason Why Personal Films Will One Day Change Your Life

If you have 3 minutes, watch this very sad and emotional short film about the events of a person’s life. As you get older, it gets harder to remember where you have come from, everything gets more distant. But video, above all mediums, far more than pictures, can bring you right back into time. Video is the most powerful means on time travel we have – in 50 years, you will want to relive your wedding, and it will be profound. This film was shot with the same camera and lenses that we use on our wedding films!

The Animal Life of Port San Luis Pier

On a short trip passing through San Luis Obispo Bay, we came across this very real, working fishing pier. There were pelicans watching the oysters in tanks, sea gulls guarding the trash, pelicans wandering around the pier, sea lions catching fish, birds trying to steal the fish back, little dinghies, kelp and lots of happy sea lions basking in the sun, itching and rubbing their backs on the pylons.

Stephanie Grace Designs

We love Stephanie Grace, she is has a wedding planning and florist company that used to be in Pasadena. Now she has moved to a storefront on Montana in Santa Monica! We always had the booth across from hers at bridal shows, so we got to know her very well over the years. If you are ever on that side of town, she has lots of other great home decor items that aren’t even wedding related!

Here is the Stephanie Grace web site!
