I wanted to share this opening sequence that we made for a Greek Orthodox wedding. I think it is very emotional and brought a tear to my eye while I was editing it!

This is part of Aspasia and Petro’s wedding – his brother really knows how to dance!
Check out this funny father tell a joke about married couples and St. Peter at the gates of heaven!
Join Wayland and the Gang as they get ready at 7:00 am, drink coffee, listen to 80s music, decorate his pad for a Tea Ceremony and prepare for the journey to Jennifer’s house, where he and his boys will be tested. Prepare to discover if he is truly worthy of her love!
For this wedding, they just hired us to capture the reception. They had their ceremony at the Wayfarers Chapel which has strict policies against videography. We arrived at the Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park and set off for some fun!
Most people have a vague idea about what actually goes into editing videos, concert videos, or wedding videos in particular. I thought I would share with you part of a completed timeline for the Winter Concert that we did in December. You can see some of the songs from that 2 hour concert video in our December posts. This was 3 cameras recording the same concert on 4 different days. All of the concerts are synced, multi-cam setup and cut. You can see how many cuts there really are. Each of those were cut by hand and usually touched a few times, since individual cuts often need to be adjusted. I will post some wedding timelines so you can see how the framework of your prized video actually looks!
These two and their great friends were the most fun possible to work with! We did their friend’s wedding a few years ago and were blessed to be part of this day. The ceremony and reception were at the Mesa Verde Country Club in Costa Mesa. The photographer was the always amazing Britney Alves.
Hello again everyone, it has been a very busy beginning of the year! We have had so many people contact us about their weddings and we have been meeting so many people it is crazy and wonderful! We also went to the fabulous Brideworld bridal show at the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend. The turnout was fantastic and we can’t wait to meet everyone who has called and emailed us since then. We also shot a wedding on Sunday.
Here is a great video from Robin and Peter’s special features section of the DVD. We will post their highlights soon – Peter is a phenomenal country music singer who plays at the House of Blues on Sunset and has been asked back many times but is usually opening for famous acts. In this video his friends let their shirts out and have a really fun time.
Gotta love Anaheim Hills!
Well the results are in and Charles Lauren Films is in the top 5 of all videography businesses in Los Angeles! Thank you all so much who voted, this is a great honor! We will continue to work as hard as we can to make amazing videos and provide great customer service.
Cheers!
