Jessica and Gabe had a glorious wedding in Indio! We did Gabe’s sister’s wedding in 2006 in Santa Barbara – they know how to pick cool destination locations! The Hyatt in Indian Wells was so accomading and did a wonderful job putting everything together. A special thanks to Alexandra Gardner, the Catering Manager at Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, Villas and Spa!
Rick and Judy picked a beautiful day for their wedding! It rained the night before, so the sky was clear, the sun was low and orange, the church was ornate and somehow her shoes got hung on the lights above her dressing room! The ceremony took place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Long Beach, they took photos at Rainbow Lagoon and Rainbow Harbor, and the Reception was at The Grand. Photography by CW Photography. Congratulations!
Oliver and Anna love Disney, love epic movies and love each other! He proposed by replacing the subtitles to a foreign movie he plays for his friends all of the time – and she was really surprised! She spilled her hot chocolate all over! The wedding took place at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro and the reception was at the Doubletree San Pedro. The coordinator was Teresa from This Is It! Events and the photography was done by our long time friend Xuong from Happy Photos in Costa Mesa. I hope this highlight brings you all some excitement! Happy Valentine’s Day!
I love that name, FantaSea, it is a great portmanteau and what can be better than leaving the dock, touring the harbor for five hours, keeping your friends and family as a captive audience, and partying partying partying. We hear Reyna and Matthew had a crazy afterparty at nearby Glow. The coordinator was Jasmine Lee and she kept everything going! Congratulations!
On a short trip passing through San Luis Obispo Bay, we came across this very real, working fishing pier. There were pelicans watching the oysters in tanks, sea gulls guarding the trash, pelicans wandering around the pier, sea lions catching fish, birds trying to steal the fish back, little dinghies, kelp and lots of happy sea lions basking in the sun, itching and rubbing their backs on the pylons.
High Profile Productions is a very cool venue for weddings, events, parties and photo and film shoots – that is a lot! We are going to be speaking at Backstage Bridal: The Exclusive Luxury Wedding Experience which will be taking place at this site on February 28th! While we were scouting out the location with Tami Brown, we were so impressed with the space we had to ask the owners Stacia and Sarah to give us a tour. They are very cool people, please watch this short video about High Profile Productions, one of our Culver City neighbors!
This was made for a special party publication, maybe we would have had an ad like this if we were in business a long time ago! Who knows!
Krista and Jim had a perfect wedding. It was great to get to be in Long Beach at their beautiful church in fall. Kaitlin and I felt like we were on the East Coast in a classic Methodist church! The leaves were changing, the sun was lower and shimmering. After the ceremony, we went to theLong Beach Petroleum Club for a reception that everyone said had really good food!
This video shows how funny dances are made and shown at weddings. We start at the beginning of the day as they are getting dressed, the bridesmaids come up with an idea to do a dance number for the bride and groom. They pick the song, surf youtube, come up with the choreography and end up performing as the last dance of the night!
